تدور قصة Hatena☆Illusion حول شاب يدعى ماكوتو يطمح في أن يصبح لاعب خفة فيقوم بالتدرب لدى صديق العائلة وهو لاعب خفة مشهور يدعى مامورو هوشيساتو. يقابل ماكوتو ابنة معلمه الجديد التي يعرفها في صغره ليكتشف أنها تغيرت.
